Altair Engineering Announces 7th European Altair Technology Conference to be Held in Munich, Germany from June 24 – 26, 2014 and Invites Customers and Industry Experts to Submit Presentation Proposals
The event will focus on new strategies and examples of enterprise simulation methods in the development of innovative products, highlighting solver solutions and lightweight design as well as Altair’s overall simulation platform
TROY, Mich. December 16, 2013 – Altair, a leading global provider of simulation technology and engineering services, today announced that it will host the 2014 European Altair Technology Conference from June 24th to 26th, 2014 at the Dolce Hotel Congress Center in Munich, Germany. Customers and industry experts are now invited to submit their presentation proposals to contribute to the success of the event.
The 7th European ATC will highlight the latest trends, developments and applications in the area of enterprise CAE, business intelligence, data management, grid computing, design, and engineering services. Altair’s experts and customers will showcase cutting-edge methods, applications and industry examples representative of all technology areas Altair covers with its innovative solutions. Customers of all industries interested in speaking at the conference now have the opportunity to submit their abstracts to the organizational team. The deadline for abstract submission is February 28th, 2014. Altair is looking for presentation proposals for the following categories:

The three-day event will be packed with valuable technical information and be divided in two parts. On Tuesday, June 24th, Altair will host workshops on different simulation related topics, including concept design, non-linear analysis as well as acoustic and NVH analysis. On Tuesday afternoon Altair will also offer the first Altair Round Table discussion, which will provide a platform for industry experts, thought leaders and the press to discuss contemporary industry topics. Wednesday and Thursday will be dedicated to the traditional conference program with several renowned Keynote presenters and technical presentations. On Thursday 26th Altair will host its “Academic & Industry CAE Collaboration Day” as a separate session parallel to the other technical presentations.
Altair also plans to host Meet the Expert sessions again, which will highlight the capabilities of the latest version of its HyperWorks software suite and will give attendees access to Altair’s development experts. On the evening of day one and during the two conference days, the attendees will have the opportunity to visit the broad partner exhibition area, which will showcase partner solutions and interesting customer applications and products that have been developed with Altair solutions.
