The presentation will go through a scenario of a smart factory (along the lines of the Industry 4.0 initiative) where a chemical process within a pharmaceutical company produces a substance critical to the production of medications. We continuously measure some settings of the process and observe the quality of the output (within range / out of range) and we have a predictive model which calculates the likelihood that the process will go out of range within the next say 15 min. Panopticon will be used to show a dashboard showing live feed of the data of these variables and the output. It will call the predictive model code in real time to calculate the prediction and show the status (Green/Red) to alert the supervisor to adjust the process parameters to prevent going out of range.
