UK’s Leading CFD Consultancy signs Collaboration Agreement with Altair to deploy HyperWorks for Geometry Pre-Processing
Royal Leamington Spa, UK, Nov. 8, 2016 – Altair Engineering Inc., a global leader in product design consulting, engineering software and high performance computing technology, is pleased to announce the start of a collaboration with one of the UK’s leading CFD consultancy, TotalSim. The collaboration will start with TotalSim UK adopting HyperMesh, part of the HyperWorks suite, as their main geometry pre-processor for CFD. This is a significant achievement and demonstrates the advances made in the development of Altair’s CFD toolset. TotalSim UK will transition away from their incumbent solution and explore other tools within the HyperWorks suite.

TotalSim UK is an independent limited company established in 2007. Leaders in the field of CFD and aerodynamics, they specialise in CFD consultancy, CFD hardware, software development and support. At present TotalSim has 25 employees in the UK with many years’ experience of applied Computational Fluid Dynamics and a combined pool of expertise capable of tackling most engineering problems.
